““Love Park Slope Pups! Ilana and team are the best. When I walk my dog by their location, he always tries to go into the building. Highly recommend.””
“Park Slope Pups is amazing! My dog is extremely anxious and afraid of new people. Ilana and her crew are so patient and understanding. Best dog walkers I could ask for. Thank you PSP! :)”
““Penny is a huge fan of Ilana and her walking team. One of the wonderful things about working with a small local business is, of course, the personal touch. The occasional last minute changes we’ve had to make in plans for walking or boarding have been easily accommodated. She’s had the same two walkers for a couple of years now. On the rare occasion they are at capacity for boarding, Ilana offers alternative options to make sure our pup is all set when we go away. Highly recommend!””
“I am so thankful to have found Ilana & her crew! Highly recommend them.Walks: I’ve been using one of her dog walkers, John, for months now and he is so wonderful with my senior toy poodle, Leo. He comes around the same time everyday, walks Leo for a half hour, and leaves me a note about the walk. Very accommodating as well, and my dog loves him!Boarding: I just had Leo stay with Ilana for dog boarding these past few weeks, and that was a tremendous success as well. She is a natural with dogs, and I immediately felt at ease leaving Leo in her care. Being a senior dog, he needs special care and had some medications he needed to take twice a day. She was able to handle all of his needs, no problem. She sent me photo and text updates while I was gone and was happy to humor my pining for Leo from afar by sending updates on request! When I picked Leo up, I could tell he was smitten with her. For once, I look forward to the next time I have to leave Leo behind for boarding, because I’m sure he will have a wonderful time.”
“Ilana and her team deserve 5 billion stars. We’ve been working with Ilana since our Shiba Inu; Uni was 10 weeks old and now he’s almost 5 years old.Uni goes to Park Slope Pups for his weekly daycare and he cannot be more thrilled and excited to meet Ilana every single time.I just know how much love and care Ilana gives to my dog as we once ran into her during a walk and Uni just could not control himself out of pure excitement! Ilana was on a bike that day and Uni just immediately wanted to follow her when she took off. (It took me 15 minutes to convince him that he has to go home with me and couldn’t follow her.)Uni is very social for a Shiba Inu and I honestly think that Park Slope Pups has taught him from the very beginning how to play and to be around with other dogs. If you’re looking for someone to love and to take care of your dog as much as you, Park Slope Pups is a place to call!”
“I LOVE Park Slope Pups! We got an 8-week-old puppy, Betty. Prior to getting her, I did a LOT of research on dog-sitters, daycare options, etc, knowing that Betty could not fully go outside until she is vaccinated, at 16 weeks. I work long hours and needed a reliable and loving person(s) to help care for the pup during the day. Ilana reassured me that they could help us out when the pup finally arrived. She came over with her colleague the DAY we brought Betty home so we could all meet and come up with a plan. Since then Ilana and/or Alfonso come by THREE times a day to check on Betty, take her in the backyard, feed her, play with her. They sometimes bring other dogs with them, which Betty LOVES. She loves Ilana and Alfonso and I feel totally comfortable leaving her with them while we’re at work. I felt really guilty leaving her home at first but she has so much love and care and attention during the day that I don’t even really worry about it anymore. She has also gotten so much socialization under her tiny 12-week-old belt, from the human visits but also the sweet dogs they bring to play with her. I know she has a great foundation for entering the “real” world and it’s in large part due to Ilana and Alfonso being so consistent with her. I totally trust Park Slope Pups and would highly recommend them to anyone.”
